Panja 1000 System
Looking for the ultimate home theater control? Well, you might want to take a look at the new Panja 1000 system. It’s comprised of a ViewPoint wireless color LCD touch panel, an RF receiver, an NXI-1000 "broadband entertainment gateway", which interfaces to the internet and is the main control center, plus the NXM-DMP media processor that translates such media formats as ASX and MP3 allowing you to use them with your home theater system. The 1000’s main feature is the ability to use a fast internet connection via a Broadband Blast and/or PanjaCast subscription. The RF-based ViewPoint can be used up to 300 feet away from the receiver, allowing control almost anywhere in your house. In terms of home theater control, the Panja 1000 can handle up to 8 infrared components using wired IR emitters. The touchpad is available in white, clear, blue, green, pink and black. The cost? The base system starts at $1999, plus a monthly subscription to Internet content.
