Once I changed it to "InputDVI", it now works fine... You can find this on the Adjusting Setup: Inputs screen... I got there through the troubleshooting screen and selected the "my TV nerver goes to the right input" option... Eventually it shows how the inputs are mapped and lets you change them. I tried all different codes of this thread, but not one code works for the discrete functions aspect ratio (zoom, 4:3, 16:9 ...), power on, power off and the sources (Video 1-3, component ...). All the other functions are working correctly. Where knows the discrete codes for these functions or cannot process this plasma model discrete codes for these? Any help are welcome. Uwe. I just opened a HLS 5087 and ran into the same problem that a lot of people are having. Codes from one set work for some functions, while codes from another set work for others. I loaded the all the codes from one set, and most worked, but had to get the HDMI2 code from another set. I will sit down with this TV in the next week and go through the whole list again and post a complete set for this TV. In the interim, if you are having problems with a Samsung code, please try all the variations of a code(from each set). I own a 27" version and it does not have discrete commands. You can try the power commands posted above as they are fairly universal among Samsung.
