I have a HL-S6188W...Does anyone have the PIP codes for it?
I used to have the HLN507W and it had all of the Pip codes on the remote(Size, Location, Channels, on and off)
But the HLS only has the PIP ON/OFF and channel up and down...I would like to be able to set the location and size without having to go through all of the steps in the menu.

If you tried these codes and they did not work, then I would doubt it. I had a 2745 and the power codes worked but I never was able to get the input codes to work. That TV did not support discrete input codes.

I have noticed some inconsistencies with some of the latest releases of DLPs and LCd sets. I will be updating these products this week after testing on both sets.

I am new to this, and my remote will be arriving this week for my samsung r88. I have the Philips Prestigo SRU9600 8-in-1 Universal Remote Control coming, are the codes above in this thread correct for my TV?

But my main question is how on earth do I get these codes into the remote.

I have noticed a slight problem with the VGA (pc) codes. The code is discrete, bringing you to the proper input, but when pressed again, the tv returns back to the previous input. Is there a discrete pc input code that does that do this? I have tested the current code on several different samsung's, dlp's and lcd's and experienced the same issue with all of them.

will these samsung codes work with my recently purchased (but not yet arrived) Samsung LT-4061F?

it's a newer model LCD... i think released earlier this year. i would like to go ahead and program my remote if possible, but don't want to bother wasting my time if none of the codes are going to work.

for what it's worth, i'll need:

discrete power commands
discrete hdmi and component commands
discrete pc (vga) command
...and would prefer all the other buttons as well. the number pad, menu, etc

Wait till you have it. I have had to test 10 or 15 different codes sometimes to get the right one. They are usually findable... but thankfully everyone here contributes or it would take even longer.

Hi! i have a little problem,i have searched everywhere for codes until i found this site. but i still can't find codes for my Samsung CS-2139R so if someone knows that other model codes works for this one i would be happy to know. thank you!

These codes can not be used by Harmony without some help from tech support. You are going to have to call them and get help with your config. Sorry. That is the issue with the wizard/web based programing.

But that is a major reason why we don't touch Harmony where I work.

thanks springs. After numerous calls and emails I finally got someone at harmony that assisted me on this. Everything is working perfect now.

First timer on this sort of question, so forgive me if I miss anything. I bought a Samsung DTB-H260F (HDTV tuner w/QAM) on Ebay. No remote, but I was ok with that seeing as I have a Harmony 676. After doing a channel scan on Cable (so it's using the QAM tuner), I picked up everything I know I can pick up in my area - except the Hi-Def version of PBS. I can get it on my Samsung SIR-T451, so I know it comes into my home without problem.

What I think the issue is is that physical channel 116 is where the PBS channel is, but my cable company recently added more QAM channels to physical channel 116. The first channel it finds it remaps to 0-518, but apparently the scan doesn't continue looking for more channels on physical channel 116. So it's like I can't get the tuner to pick up PBS.

I think if I had the ability to type in 116-1 or 116-2, I might be able to get it...but that's where my question starts. The Harmony doesn't have the code for the "-" (dash) key. I know it's on the original remote because I can see it in the manual. Since I don't have an original remote, I can't teach my Harmony. It sounds like if I can find a discrete code for it, I can email Harmony and have them add it for me. Any chance anyone on this board has that Samsung tuner and can find the discrete code for me?
