| Any ideas on ant 1 and mute. Mute I guess I could work with, but the problem with it, is when you hit mute, the display stays on the screen, until I hit it again. Issue is sometimes my wife wants to listen through the tv speakers. I appreciate your help. |

I'm looking for discreet codes for Samsung LN3215 lcd , for ant 1 and try to figure out how to program the mute button also, so I can lower the tv volume and use the surround sound. My wife uses the tv speakers, than I want to turn them off for the surround, except when you hit mute the display stays on the monitor screen.
thanks for your help. |

All of the potential Samsung TV codes and findings are contained within this thread.
PHSJason has listed many and I have provided links to my findings as well.
Regarding the mute... your only solution is to just turn down the TV volume but since I have no idea how you have configured your system or what form of control you are using I can not provide further comment.
Regarding Ant.1... often you can just tune in a channel and it will go to the antenna input automatically (set up a default channel macro) but I have no idea if this will work for your model. Most TVs lack a discrete antenna command these days. |

As far as in my case, even when I tune in for ant1 it still toggles to air tv 3. If I could block tv3 that it would work, but I can't seem to find a way of doing that.
With the mute what I had come up with was withing the macro just keep on toggling the volume down button until it's to zero. I haven't configured the system at all. But again programming the macro this way takes a bit, I would have to toggle the volume down maybe 12x. It would be great if I could just hit the mute once again that works, but in my tv it leaves the mute off display on the screen.
hope you understand my situation.
Thanks, |

hey MP4307, what remote are you using? if it's a pronto then maybe you could extend the duration of a tv volume down command to say 4 seconds and include this single command after a page asking if you require surround sound or tv sound. once you select 'surround' the extended command is issued and the tv volume is ramped down to zero. |

Hi I'm using the mx-350, so what I've been doing is toggling the volume down button let say from level 17 on the tv to zero, that takes a bit of time. I was hoping to just mute, or I guess I could go through the menu option I disengage the tv speaker. But then reactivate when the wife uses the tv speakers. Also the other big one is the discreet for ant 1. Here when I'm watching dvd which is hdmi 1, then I switch to dvr 1 which is ant 1, it goes to air 1 or ant 2. I want it to just go to ant 2.
thanks, |

Hello,
these codes seem to work fine for my LE40M86 (european version). How did you get them? I would like to have the code to switch to DTV mode.
Thanks! |
Hey mynab
Just saw that you are looking for the same code I´m looking for as well. All the DTV mode codes I checked out from this posts here are only switching to the internal tuner for terrisic TV but not to the build in DVB-T tuner input. Did you have success in the meantime figuring out the right code for that. It is the only one remaining on my whislist for my LE-40F86BD discrete codes. Count on you man ;-) If you have it, please post it here.
Thanks in advance

| Hi I'm using an mx-350. I toggle volume down on the macro 15 to 16 times but it extends the macro execution time. also ant 2 is the other big issue. |

Hi, I have just set up my remote using the codes below. It works on my LA40M81BD LCD but most Samsungs have similar codes. Give it a try.
select digital tv EFC 171 OBC 67 HEX 3D |

Hi, I have a Sony RM-AV3100 remote, which was formerly programmed using discrete codes for the inputs of a different TV. I recently upgraded to a Samsung LNT5265 TV and would like to get back to discrete inputs. It has been a few years, but I recall using an inexpensive radio shack remote to accept the discrete codes and then using that remote to train my AV3100. Does this sound right? Is there a tutorial available on this process anywhere?
Also, which set of discrete codes should I using for this model TV? (LCD)
Lastly, that cheap radio shack remote may have gotten lost in my recent move, so If someone could suggest a replacement, that would help too.
Thanks in advance |

FYI - I have a fairly new Samsung LA52M81BDX (52" LCD full HD) and the NECx2 codes from this thread worked for me on my URC MX-810 remote.. so I thought i'd post incase people with LAXXM81 model LCD's are looking for confirmation that these codes work.. So far only tested: On Off DTV (actually toggles between DTV and AnalogTV) TV (discrete, not sure why the DTV above isn't discrete though) HDMI1 VGA1 Component1 S-Video1 Haven't tested the others but I'm guessing most will work since all these did..
So thanks all for the codes! :-) :-) |

Yes, they keep changing the codes. Sometimes a lot, sometimes most of the codes work, but others do not. Sometimes, all the codes are the same.
Which model do you have? |
Remote --- RC-570M Samsung HD -- TXR 3079WH / 32" HD if that helps???

I have a Samsung LN-T4061 and none of the discreted input codes have worked for me.
I have to switch by source when I'd rather be able to go directly to HDMI 1, or PC. Anyone got discrete input codes ? |

I would never say anything absolute but most of the LNT models have responded to the NECx2 codes that have been posted here by PHS Jason and by myself in another thread.
Most people end up not searching the posts thoroughly (especially this one because of the length) and miss the conversation about the NEC2 vs NECx2 code sets. |
