I'm looking for the codes that allow direct up/down adjustment of the sub woofer level on my Sony STR-DB830 receiver.

I have found some (very) discrete codes that allow direct setting of specific DB levels (+10, +5, 0, -4, -8, etc) but this is not very useful, since I need to use only two buttons to control the sub level, not 21 buttons (!), which is what it would take with the codes I have now.

I'm looking for the Sub Woofer level up/down codes (two total) that act just like the Rear and Center level up/down codes (which I already have).

Thanks, I tried them, but no luck, they don't work.

The only other ones I've found so far are in the URC IRDB Audio category as Sony 4 or Sony 5, though they don't work either. That these exist gives me hope that the sub level codes exist somewhere for my receiver.

Hi fingershop,

I don't have a solution to your problem but you may give me a lead on my own. I am trying to control specific volume levels. You mentioned specific levels for sub. Please post or give link.

Regards,
Herb

They are from a 9000ES preamp but worth a try.
