Hi All,
I just got a new Sony STR-DG920 and have it working for the most part. The receiver it replaced (a pioneer) had discrete power on and power off codes. Anyone have these for the Sony? I thought for sure this would be listed in the files section, but no luck.

Thanks in advance!
Jared

These are for the STR-DB series, which I think was the ancestor of the DG series.

What programmable remote(s) do you have? Can you import codes from an mxa or mxg file?

Also, can you post the hex codes for your 920's power, mute, and volume up/dn commands? Seeing their format might help me find the right ones for you.

Hi Jared,

I recently purchased a Sony STR-DG920 as well - I am using a ProntoPro (TSU6000) - I was able to use the hex codes listed under the files section here:

http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bi...te&br=sony&dv=receiver

The "Normal" codes did not work, but the "Other" section codes worked when I copied and pasted them using the "Copy to Clipboard" link that was provided.

Hope that helps!

Well grab my remote and slap me silly...that worked! I swore I tried all the Sony codes on here. Maybe I didn't copy it fully or something. My TSU7000 is working like a charm now!

Thanks everyone for the assistance!
