I am looking for discrete IR codes to control "tray open" and (separately) "tray close" on Sony's latest Blu-Ray players (BDP-S500/550). The old trick of "play" command followed by "stop" to cause tray to be closed (thereby eliminating toggle uncertainty) does not work on Sony's latest players since they ignore almost all codes if the tray is open.
Any ideas ? |

i would like to bet that the code you are searching for does not exist, do you know of ANY players that feature this command? surely if you are wanting to open/close the disc tray you are either inserting or removing a disc, therefore you are standing next to the player and probably would not be using the remote at all? |
