I have a sharp aquos tv lc 13e1u that I bought on ebay that came with a jvc multibrand remote. I cannot get it to work. A friend told me to press the tv button...then press and release the mbr set button. then enter 0-5 and then press stop. I did all of this while holding down the tv button to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas for me?????

Once its programmed, the only time the remote will emit the Sharp tv commands, is when the TV button is depressed. So to get the volume working, start by pressing and holding the TV button, at the same time press the vol keys. You let go of the TV key, no more volume. This goes for ALL non-jvc commands.
