I'm still trying to Get Fox-HD (14.1/29.1) out of Buffalo. I haven't had a chance to get up on my roof and do some finer aiming of my Electronic Master ANT-2084. I'm not willing to get up on a roof if it's covered with snow (Suicidal). At the rate we are goin, I may have to wait till June. I went and bought a Digiwave ANT2086 for $40.00 Canadian. This is another 4/8 pole Bow tie antenna. I am thinking of putting Both antennas on the same mast and tie them together. Point one towards the CN Tower and the other towards Grand Island Buffalo. Tie them together into one feed. I would rather try two antennas than buy a rotary head. What are your thoughts on ganging two antennas together ? I could tie the two Coax connectors together with a UHF satellite connector for tying two Satellite dishes together or I could tie together the two aluminum wires that go back and forth from Bow tie to Bowtie with a couple pieces of heavy Aluminum Ground wire effectively making an 8/16 pole antenna out of two 4/8 pole antennas.
Also, one more question; in my front yard there is a large spruce tree couvered with snow which is kind of smack dab in the middle of a line from my chimmeny antenna and grand island. Does this UHF over the air need a clear line of sight like a satellite dish ? |

| My guess is you've learned this isn't a practical solution - unless your TV has two separate antenna spigots. |

Well here it is January and I thought that Weather Plus would have gone dark, but I guess a few NBC affilliates have kept the Weather Plus sub-channel and WGRZ has re-named it Storm Team 2 Weather Plus. Glad to see a good channel like this stick around.
As for WNGS (the RTN portion anyways) I've learned that there are three similar networks that are beginning to appear in the sub-channel universe areound the U.S.
According to the information I read on Wikipedia Me TV, The Variety Television Network and THIS! TV are Similar to RTN. This! is part of MGM, officially launched November 1st and has plans to go on the air in 30 more markets. |
