In a configuration at one of our customers this keeps appearing in the screen, does that mean there's something wrong with the signal cable used by the rp6 or does it have some other (dark sinister) meaning?

Configuration is simply a T2C with a RP6 and a blu-ray player, plasma screen and a receiver

thanks for your help.

He must mean the plasma.

Since the T2-C could not display any error message like that, he is probably referring to the signal drop on the plasma which would give him the "no signal" message.

You might see that message while the TV has "no signal", which is why it displays that message, I am not trying to sound sarcastic either.

Recievers drop the signals momentarily while adjusting inputs, and the Plasma may show that also on the power up of the unit.

Its outside of your control really.

I agree with joey...seeing that 2 way is still only 2 weeks away the rp6 has know way of communicating with the t2c to tell it that some cable has dropped out!!!!
