I see on the URC site that I can download the MX-810 software with a valid SN. I am going to buy one if that is the case. Get my feet wet, before I jump into the pronto's or newer MX series. Really need two way (Wifi) for a project, but thought I would give the 810 a whirl.

Glad I found it by typing in the wrong model search. I was looking for the Harmony 880, but this looks more up my alley and a better product. I see there is a MX-880 model also.

Newb

Edit: Went to URC's site and found that I can download the SW for the 810. So I just purchased the MX-810 new and the seller is sending me the SW also. While I was at it I order the MRF-260 so I can control multiple devices around the HT area. ie. 110" Electric screen, Projector, AVR, & Vizions Media center. I also have a sat stb as well as 2 dvd players. I guess I will be busy the weekend after Xmas. On to better things in 2009 is going to be my motto.

Is there a question in there, or are you just telling us what you are doing?

Yes, there was a question on the 810 sw availbility in the first paragraph. Should have put a question mark in there. I then did some on-line research and found the answer to the question and went ahead with my purchase. I got exited over my purchase and rambled on with some of the things I am going to use the 810 for.

And a few rum and cokes might have slipped in there somewhere. :)

Thanks

Have you had any software issues with this unit? I seriously was thinking about purchasing it as well but I stumbled on a few unfavorable responses regarding SW.
