Hi All!!

Unbelivable reading thru the threads here...I already give up...looks like it would take tons of research! I would rather use all the individual remotes!

PS3 - line of sight (for playing DVDs) can do without the PS3 if remote won't work
Mits TV - line of sight (on and off and change inputs only)
Dish Network VIP 622- line of sight (all functions)
Emotiva RSP-2 Pre Amp- need non line of sight (on-off, volume and input select only)
Emotiva CD player - line of sight (on-off, play and select tracks only)

Would like to program on computer if possible
I really like the remote that came with the Dish VIP 622
Budget < $200

Thanks all!!!!!!!!

Non-line-of-sight means an RF remote.

PS3 will require a third party add-on piece such as the IR2BT, IR4PS3, PS3 Tooth Fairy, and I think there's one other.

Not sure what kind of discrete codes your equipment has.

I'd look at the URC MX-900 with an MRF-260. Look to see what kind of deals Mike at Surf Remote has. $200 is going to be too little, but you should be able to do it for a bit more.

Your other option would be a Harmony 890 and RF receiver, but that remote is about as durable as a dried out rubber band.

LET'S GO BUFFALO!!!

Thanks!
I'll check out the MX-900 and stay away from the Harmony.

I've got a customer using a dried out rubber band holding together an old Harmony remote.

We have two ends with a common link,
With one we sit, with one we think;
Success depends on what we use, Heads we win, tails we lose.
