Hi all. I already found this forum extremely helpful just reading through all the posts!!! (quite amusing at times too ;-)) My specific question did not turn up however, and I'm afraid this will not even be available, but here goes: I recently installed new home automation hardware, and this stuff all works with RF signals. (433.92MHz and 868.35MHz) Is there an RF "Learning" remote on the market capable of controlling such devices? Basically, they are all just switches reacting to a certain RF signal...
What would be great: - controlling TV's with IR - controlling DRV with RF (Extender --> IR) - controlling PC (MediaCenter) with BT or WiFi - controlling "Home devices" Directly with the remote
What would be nice: - controlling TV's with IR - controlling DRV with RF (Extender --> IR) - controlling PC (MediaCenter) with RF (extender --> IR Receiver) - controlling "Home devices" with RF (extender --> IR "Home Controller")
Also, I'm thinking of a remote with a touchscreen, but have seen some advice against those around the forum (thinking it would be useful to design my own interfaces (especially for home automation))
Any thoughts, advice, and recommendations are very welcome.
Ow, by the way, the home automation system I use is quite new (LightManager Pro), and is not supported (yet) like X10 and Z-Wave are for example...
